A one-off album that bridged rock, blues and jazz and launched the career of guitarist Joe Bonamassa.

Aside from Bonamassa, the band is comprised of some top-tier musicians who all happen to be the sons of some rock music greats. Second guitarist Waylon Krieger is the son of Doors guitarist Robby Krieger, bassist vocalist Barry Oakley Jr. is the son of Allman Brothers Band bassist Barry Oakley Sr. and drummer Erin Davis is the son of jazz pioneer Miles Davis – thus the band moniker of Bloodline.

The band embarked on tours supporting both Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top to promote the album, but despite stellar reviews of both the album and their live shows, the band could not cultivate enough attention to warrant a second album or additional touring and parted ways.
